I'm a third-generation horseman: my grandmother founded Evergreen Equestrian in the early 1960s, and I worked for years under Norman Dello Joio, individual bronze medalist at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Since 2016, coaching has been the work — not a sideline, but the profession I've built everything around.
In over two decades of that work, the sport has taken me from junior championships to CSI5* Grand Prix podiums, the Paris Olympic Games, the World Championships, and the European Championships — always with the same job: developing horses and riders.
With Harrie Smolders and Chris Sorensen, I co-founded M.70 — a coaching and athlete management company where every rider trains directly with all three principal coaches. Alongside it I run Du Val Soleil, breeding from proven 1.60m Grand Prix damlines, and Evergreen Equestrian, sourcing and matching horses at the highest level.
I split my time between our bases in Europe and Wellington, Florida — an operation built so athletes can train, compete, and develop from either side of the Atlantic.

We source and produce horses to the highest levels of the sport, then pair them with the right people — matchmaking built on decades of knowing exactly what a horse can become, and exactly what a rider needs.
